侯万儒
1954年生，博士，西华师范大学生命科学学院教授，硕士生导师。西华师范大学学报编辑部副主任，自然版主编。专业及研究方向为生物学教学论、生化与分子生物学。已发表论文近40篇，出版专著3部（编著1部，参编2部）。获省部科技进步奖两项，省教学成果二等奖1项。对中学生物教学有较为系统的研究。2004年被全国高校学报评为“十佳”主编。

研究领域
大熊猫和四川黑熊基因组和蛋白组比较研究
试图利用结构基因组所提供的信息和产物，发展和应用新的实验手段，通过在基因组或系统水平上全面分析基因的功能，使得大熊猫和四川黑熊基因研究从对单一基因或蛋白质的研究转向多个基因或蛋白质同时进行系统的研究，探索大熊猫和四川黑熊基因组进化的连续性和变异性、生物之间的亲缘关系、阐明基因结构和演化、调控序列的结构和功能、内含子的进化以及基因功能。
