NorthPacific:BeringSeacoastsofAsiaandAlaskasouthwardtotheYuhutuRiver,Hokkaido,northernJapanandPuntaCanoas,centralBajaCalifornia,Mexico.Thepopulationswere,atonetime,splitintotwogroups(Ref.10015)asEntosphenustridentatustridentatuswhichrangedfromtheColumbiaRivertoAlaska,andEntosphenustridentatusciliatuswhichrangedfromKlamathRiversouthwards(Ref.1998).Thisdivisionnolongerholds(Ref.1998).FreshwaterresidentpopulationsexistinCulrusLakeandtheColumbiaRiver,BritishColumbia,theSpragueRiverinOregon,theGooseLakeinOregon/加利福尼亚州,andtheKlamathandShastariversandCopcoLakeinCalifornia(Ref.12269).
