Lizz Wright，美国佐治亚州人，1980年1月22日出生，爵士乐、R\u0026B歌手及音乐创作人，蓝调、福音、灵魂乐唱法也擅长，主要作品有《Dreaming Wide Awake》、《Fellowship》等。

Lizz 生长于Hahira 的一个小镇Georgia，自小的音乐训练受到在教堂当琴师的父亲的影响，早期唱赞美诗 (hymns)，后来爵士乐和蓝调 (Blues) 进入她的音乐生命，高中时在各种歌唱比赛中获奖无数，後来进入进入在亚特兰大的佐治亚州大学学习唱歌，2000年她加盟Atlanta城的四人合唱团"In the Spirit"，转眼间走红成为Atlanta 城最佳爵士乐组合。如今住在北卡。
2003年，第一张专辑\u003cSalt\u003e一发行就冲上了 Billboard Top CONTEMPORARY Jazz榜单第二名。是继诺拉·琼斯后又一让人眼前无限亮眼的当代年轻犹他爵士队女声。

Lizz Wright 是爵士乐界一个陌生的名字，2002年Verve 与她签约，2003年推出她的首张个人唱片。 Lizz 虽然只有二十三岁，但却拥有一把成熟撩人的声线，笔者觉得有点像Rock diva Annie Lennox，唱腔受到gospel, R\u0026B 的影响，接近rock 女歌手Oleta Adams 及 Jill Scott 的风格。
