周恩民
周恩民,1993年获加拿大明尼多巴大学医学院免疫学博士学位。1992年至2006年在加拿大农业部动物疾病研究所、加拿大国家动物外来病研究中心及美国依阿华州立大学兽医学院担任高级研究员、教授和免疫室主任。在国外20余年科研教学中主持和参加加拿大及美国的有关动物病毒、新型冠状病毒疫苗和单克隆抗体等领域科研项目20余个。发表SCI论文50余篇。
2011年入选陕西省“百人计划”,农业部兽用药物与兽医生物技术陕西科学观测实验站主任。

研究方向
首次发现了蓝耳病病毒自身抗独特型抗体的存在。该抗体模拟蓝耳病病毒的表面抗原,识别抗该表面抗原的抗体。相继制备了单克隆抗独特型抗体,并由此鉴定出了一个新型的蓝耳病病毒受体,发现了该受体的阻断抑制剂。获得了国家发明专利。
戊型肝炎病毒研究
首次证明禽HEV(美国分离株)的 ORF2 蛋白免疫后能够产生中和抗体并可以防止HEV的感染。ORF2 蛋白的抗原表位可以作为有效的免疫诊断抗原,用来鉴别人和禽HEV抗原决定簇。研究表明禽与人、猪HEV具有某些相同的抗原决定簇。最近首次在中国患有肝脾肿大综合征的鸡病料中分离到禽HEV,已完成全基因组鉴定。
先后在 J. Immunol. (免疫学杂志)、J. Virol.(病毒学杂志)、J. Gen. Virol.(普通病毒学杂志)J. Virol. Methods(病毒方法学杂志)等刊物上发表67篇论文,在国际会议上发表论文70余篇。
研究方向1:猪繁殖与呼吸综合征。猪繁殖与呼吸综合征病毒生物学、病毒与宿主互作、免疫调控、诊断试剂新型冠状病毒疫苗及生物制剂研发。
研究方向2:戊型病毒性肝炎。禽和猪戊型肝炎病毒生物学、病毒与宿主互作、致病机制、病毒跨种系传播机制、诊断试剂疫苗及生物制剂研发。
