钟杨
钟杨，男，1960年生于北京，博士生导师，中国国家教育部长江学者讲座教授，上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院致远讲席教授。上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院院长，上海交通大学民意与舆情调查中心主任，田纳西大学政治学终身教授，武汉大学和四川大学的客座教授。
钟杨1983年获得国际关系学院英国文学学士， 1985年获得国际关系学院国际政治硕士学位，1987获得美国阿克隆大学政治学硕士，1992年获得美国肯塔基大学政治学博士学位，并于1991年起任教于美国田纳西大学政治学系。历任田纳西大学国际教育处处长，田纳西大学中国中心主任，田纳西大学政治学系副主任。
钟杨的研究领域主要是比较政治学理论、政治文化、政治参与、公共管理、城市政府绩效评估、民意调查、台湾海峡关系等。发表过五十余篇学术文章（其中30篇是SSCI文章）。 在2006年3月被全国政协选为全球27个海外特邀代表之一，参加全国政协第十届四次会议。
研究方向
比较政治学理论、政治文化和政治参与。
主要贡献
钟杨教授发表过两部专著和五本合编学术著作，以及三十多篇学术文章。他的学术文章曾发表在美国一流政治学SSCI学术期刊上，其中包括《Comparative Political Studies》（《比较政治学研究》）， 《Journal of Politics》（《政治学学刊》，《Political Research Quarterly》（政治研究季刊），《Asian Survey》（《亚洲研究》）和《Journal of Contemporary China》（《当代中国期刊》。
